2019 Hornby Island “Seascapes in March”
Hornby Island with its stunning array of dramatic and moody seascapes is a multi- faceted West Coast destination. This unique location lying just off of Vancouver Islands east coast shores will stimulate the senses and allow landscape photographers to create, and further develop their nature photography skill set. We will visit the meadows and cliffs at Helliwell Park, explore the alien rock formations of Herron Rocks at low tide, walk the white sands of Tribune Bay, also known as “little Hawaii” and capture the drama and mood of sunsets and sunrises at pre-determined points on the Island. With minimum light pollution, Hornby is also a fantastic destination for exploring night photography.
